Curcuma Floating Print

Turmeric or Curcuma (Curcuma longa), is presented here as a single elegant bloom floating on a pedestal. Native to the wilds of South and Southeast Asia, it has been used for 4000 years to treat a variety of conditions. A key ingredient to many Indian, Persian and Thai dishes, the orange colored product from its ground tubers was known as Indian Saffron in medieval Europe. This borderless version is available in various print proportioned sizes to fit standard frames.
